Olman down the road

Olman down the road

(orig. owner 305)

I knocked down a sensor located right between the two cyl next to firewall pass. side while replacing the spark plugs from hell (no ramps)

battery is charging after a long nap, will the car start with out this sensor been conected?..if it does, what kind of symptoms will experience?

need the car running to replace such device (on ramps) not going back there no sir

n please the name of this sensor/sender (one wire)

If you have an electric radiator fan I believe that would be the turn on switch for it. So running with a broken fan switch I guess would either cause the fan stay on at all times or (most likely) never engage at all. Depending on the climate in your particular region, in fear of overheating, I would say let the car sit and order a new one online. Or take the buss to your nearest auto shop.

the one for the fan was disconected years ago, home made to come on with ac on, this one is at the end of engine passanger side 305 TBI 92, sorry i didn't mention this B4, I could easily blame it to aging but is not the case

I apologize for not using the search button..appear to be the knock sensor (someone correct me if Im wrong please)

if that the case I may need just the connector. lil pieces came down while doing the plugs, never got to see the shape of conector, now is just a wire hanging

will this affect runing?
set a code? code number?

The knock sensor is in the drain at the bottom of the block just above the oil pan. If your sensor is in the heads, it's the fan switch.
