car is touchy to start

ok this seems a little odd with my car, it seems like my vehicle has to atleas set 15 min after it's been shut off before i can get a guaranteed start, but if it's cold or wet it just dosent really like to start or I kill the battery trying to start it any ideas?

Re: car is touchy to start

Need more info but i have a strange suspicion this is a carbed car right? If thats the case i suspect maybe a tuning issue or maybe a problem with the choke or even a vapor lock condition. If im wrong and its injected which i probably am my guess is ide start by checking out your ignition system. The distributor if wet can be very temperamental if it gets wet inside and the ignition modules are know for issues with heat. Any check engine codes?
