Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.23 limited slip
do i really need to discharge the a/c to remove the engine?
or can I just leave it connected and hang it out of the way?

i dont see why you cant just hang it up..try it and if all else fails then discharge it.

ok. i was hoping i wouldn't have to drive the car anywhere to get it discharged because the car can't be driven right now lol.

Just unbolt the compressor from the mount brackets, leave the hoses attached & set it to the side.
