Looks ok to me. I would put in a little porting and set up for the heads to match your camshaft, and combo, whatever that will be.

ok thanks, what do you folks use for assembly lube? my old man is trying to convince me on using that white lithium greese, says thats all he ever used, but that was back in the 50's and 60's.

different things will work. The white lithium will work for some things, but there is better stuff out there. For some parts I use bearing grease, for others I use moly grease in the tube, for others I use Crane Cams assembly lube, and as a general lube for large areas like cylinder bores, pistons, and lifter valley I use a mix of mineral motor oil and WD-40 in a spray bottle.
Just don't clog up oil passages with a very thick lube. It can cause oil starvation before heat has time to melt it away.
Generally speaking, motor oil is a fine assembly lube if you plan to run the motor very soon. If it will have any storage time before running, then go with something thicker.
Hopefully you'll get more input here.
