I found that the coolant hose got to close to the altenator blade and it spewed coolant everywhere. The altenator was soaked but dont think any got near the distributor. I was about to time the car about 6 hours later. It started right up and i let it idle for about 2 minutes. I hooked the timing light up and checked the timing, it imediately shut off the second i pressed the timing light button. Now it will not start at ALL. it dosent even try. It just turns over.

I looked at the distributor as the engine was spinning and im not getting any spark. Battery is completely charged and everything is connected. What should i look for? I REALLY need some help guys.. please

 

it was the coil. thanks
