vortec heads
what do i need to do to get .552" of lift out of the vortec heads? ive got the matched spring and retainer kit from crane part # 10369-1 which can handle .550 of lift is there anything else i can do to get just a little bit more lift out of these heads? thanks in advance!!!!

if you are going for that much lift, you need to have the heads machined appropriately.
Do not push the limits. You really need to do some good measuring on things to make sure you have plenty of room and that you will not have coil bind, hit the seal, etc.
