Is it me ? , or is it Felpro gaskets ??? pics inside .

well, long story short , head gasket blows , rebuild , post rebuild runs rich , cant figure out why so i go back and check for intake manifold leaks and i find that the gaskets had the two rear water ports blocked off " looks like they didnt cut them out , all it had was a little hole " also my EGR ports were not there , they hadnt been cut out , so i buy new Felpro gaskets "same ones basically " except this time all four water ports are cutout yet the EGR ports are still not cutout , anyone else experience this ? can i cut out the sections for the egr ? pictures below BTW sorry for posting pictures this big , i dont know how to attach them the other way .

There are some different gaskets available, maybe you were given the wrong ones. The MS 93317 appears to have the EGR port and a small hole at the rear coolant passage. That seems to be the part number for the 87-up heads and TBI. I am pretty sure the set for the TPI (that includes runner gaskets) uses the MS 90314-2 intake gaskets. Those have ports for both water front and rear and the EGR port.

Should not be an issue with drilling a hole for an EGR port, but I'd try to get the correct gaskets instead.

TBI?

Looking at your 2nd picture, all the EGR ports I know of are in the middle of the gasket. I dont know what those holes in the intake are for, but I think if you look at the head you'll find there are no holes there.

the first pair of gaskets i got @ autozone , they came with head gaskets and a bunch of other little gaskets , the second pair i got from summit , it said it was for the 88' year model " and yes i made sure it was for the tbi . Here's my intake manifoldbtw. i checked for any EGR ports on my heads and there is one one each head between intake ports 4 and 6 , and 3 and 5 , exhaust gas flow through them
