As long as ive had this 91 RS tbi the car would have trouble starting when i crank it with the key...the engines cranks just fine, its gettin fuel but no spark...when we push start it it will start at the first push...this problem has gotten worse thru the past years...now the only way it will start is wit a push...anyone ever heard of this?

 

If you're sure that you are getting spark, then I'd suggest pulling your plugs to see if they're fouled and to check your timing. If your timing is off too much the car won't fire at the right time and if your plugs are fouled then too, they may be getting spark but not firing at the right time.

 

its crazy cuz everythg is new...the timings right on...it just wont start cold crankin it...cuz if the engine has been ran and warmed up....it'll start crankin it...the only thing i havnt changed out is the distributor...but it doesnt look that bad inside...i cant figure it out....somebody help ;(

 

Pickup coil in the distributor maybe, mine was shot and caused lots of problems.
