Spark Plug Gap

Hey guys,

I'd posted a while ago about my car not performing right, it falls on it's face at WOT, and pretty much anything above half throttle. I decided to do a full tuneup before digging much further into the car. Now, it has a 350 in it, with 305 Intake, carb, etc on it. I gapped my plugs at 35, as I would do for any other 350, however, the 305 was supposed to be gapped at 45. Should I pull my plugs and regap them? It running fine, and smooth, no real misses. It runs a bit rough, but the cat is bad, and it's giving me bad o2 readings, and some other issues, I get the cat replaced tomorrow, and will start examining for other issues after that.

Re: Spark Plug Gap

I'm getting a magnaflow high flow cat put in too, should be good for a couple horsepower. Also, I just looked at all my spark plug gapping tools, none of them even go up to 45. I'll do 40 next time I swap them.
