relay help
I appear to be having charging problems with my 91 z28 tpi. I read somewhere on a thread that said that the alternator was tied in with a cooling fan relay. Can someone tell me if its the primary, or secondary cooling fan relay? Much thanks

Technically speaking it is not tied in, however they share a fuse, confusing some people.
If the fan works the fuse is good.
If the car is not charging, and the alt is getting 12 volts to it’s terminals, replace the alt.
