What sensor is this? 89/L03. DS head between 1&3 plugs
I was doing the plugs on my 89 bird and noticed some ghetto rigging to a sensor. Its a single green wire that goes to the same wire harness as the 02. The sensor kinda looks like an old school coolent sensor or something.A single lug for a connector. The wire was just stripped and wrapped around the lug with tape holding it on 
It up under the exst manifold and looks like its in the head.
I looked on AZ and a few other parts sites and couldnt find a sensor that looked like this on my engine.

coolant temp sensor for the gauge.

Thanks.. Someone musta rigged this in there because it looks nothing like the senders at the parts stores. Maybe thats why the plug is missing.
