replacement starter soleniod wire question
replacing engine in my gta..
got everything mounted up and wired up.
I had to replace the starter solenoid because I broke the orginal one..
anyways the replacement one has a spot for a big wire and 2 sport for a little wire. My stock one only has 1 spot for a little wire..
I hooked it up and it doesnt do anything when I turn the key now..
Is this the wrong solenoid or do I probly have somethign else off?
Anyone know why the aftermarket one would have 2 places for a little wire?
thanks

Re: replacement starter soleniod wire question
hooked wire up to wrong small post.should be labeled "s" and "I".you want to use s terminal.this is a generic solenoid that will als work on older cars with points ignition.hook up to s and you should be fine.
