LB9 No spark
Ugh I am having a spark problem with my car. I replaced the coil, pick up coil, rotor, cap and ignition module. I still dont have anything. its an 89 Trans am and its been sitting for a while. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You actually did mention that you replaced the ignition module, see above!!
Having replaced all that stuff, did you check to see if you are actually getting any voltage to these items????
No power, no spark, no matter how new the items are!!

I have power to the coil and from the coil to the control module.
I dont really know how to test anything else so some advice would be helpful. I am getting gas because the #1 plug is wet with gas. I am really stumped with all of this.

Did you put the dielectric grease under the ignition module!!!!

I am going to replace the spark plugs and do a oil change because the oil smells like gas...hopefully something happens

heh...spark plugs and oil didnt do anything... plus the starter died. I am seriously thinking about just spending the money for a mechanic...I hope this damn thing drives straight.

Pulled the starter... and the wiring seemed funky to me.
There were a couple of wires going to the main bolt on the solenoid
then there was 1 going to one of the smaller posts right next to it.
there are two posts smaller posts isnt there supposed to be another wire going to the other one?

Had a friend come over today and determined that I have spark so I guess I have a fuel delivery problem now...

look for sparks. If you have replaced everything that i did check your base timing... After I put it on time my car started.
