Car wont start
My car was working just fine (besides the clutch being all messed up) and I just finished replacing the clutch on my car and it's not wanting to start. it's just turning over and thats it. i have just bought new MSD wires and the spark plugs are new. i also replaced the slave silender on the hydrolic clutch and its still not starting. i dont get why my car justed desided to stop working after i put the transsmision back in. any ideas would help.

The 1st thing to check is to see if you are aren't getting fuel or spark.
Check a couple of your plugs. Are they fuel saturated?? If they are, then you aren't getting spark.
If they are dry then your probably getting spark, but that is not a sure bet..
If you plugs are saturated.. 1st step is to get new plugs. Don't try to superheat them
then check the
ECM fuse to ensure your ECM is working
All your positive wires and grounds around starter and back of block
low oil pressure switch on the back of the block between the heads
Coil wires to include the ones that hook up to the coil
Distrib wires to include all 6 or 8 wires that go to the plugs
Cap & Rotor
Pickup coil.
Ignition module in Distrib
If your plugs are dry..
Check your ECM fuse again to ensure your Fuel pump is working when your turn the key to the on position.. or 5v reference signal
Amount of fuel??
Fuel pump
Pressure Regulator
Hmmm. Can't think of any other obvious reasons

Re: Car wont start
I'm getting fuel but im not getting spark and my coil is good. one of the 2 wires that plugs on to the coil is not getting any juice, its the one that links up to the distributor. (im not talking about the one that plugs on top of the distributor im talking about the one that plugs on to the base like on the back side of the distributor.

1st thing I would do is change the idnition module and the pickup coil. They are fairly inexpensive and easy to get to. If you haven't changed the cap and rotor in a while, Change that also.
