I'm in the middle trying to get my car put back together and was thinking of replacing the sensors on the heads, not sure what the sensors are though. Can anybody tell me what these sensors are?

The one in the driver's side head is for the temp sensor on the dashboard.
The one in the passenger's side head is the temp switch for the electric fan on the radiator.
The one in the passenger's side head is the temp switch for the electric fan on the radiator.
I'm pretty sure they were working the last time the car was running, so I prob don't have to replace them right now, right?
