in my 4th gen (95 firebird)with a 3.4 the motor will start knocking and then stop. the knock comes and goes. i think it might have spun a bearing but someone told me that it was the oil pressure switch/sensor so i got a new one. the knock is there definitly less often but is still there just want to see what you guys thought about it Oh yea someone also told me that it was the 5spd causing the noise and i should not worry

I'd find a 4th gen F-Body site to consult - usually the only folks here with 4th gen stuff have LT1's or LS1's, not 6bangers - and so you won't get much info here since this is a 3rd gen site.
