ok, I fixed the rough idleing problem, changed plugs and wires. I also changed alternator, distributor cap, coil, module. Now it runs ok, but it surges a little when I'm going 25-30mph. My main problem is that it stalls out at stop signs and even when in park when it tries to maintain idle. I put a new battery in it last october, but it kept going dead, that why I changed the alternator. Would having a bad ground somewhere cause it to stall? I'm getting pretty frustrated with this..I also noticed when I come to a stop the car fights the brakes pretty hard, which makes me think the torque converter, but I put in a 700r4 tranny froma 92 camaro cause the stock tranny had chocolate milk for fluid. I put a new torque conveter so I dont understand why its messing up. When I put the new tranny n it shifts pretty hard into second. is there vacuum hoses for the tranny that may be the culprit? I'm taking it to a GM dealer tommorrow so they can run diagnosis on it, any ideas I can ask them? Any help would be appreciated.
