A/c compressor
I have an '89 Camaro RS w/ 305. I noticed that A/C compressor cycles on for about 3 seconds and then off about the same. Is this normal? Air not really cold either, but works and no leaks. Any comments? Thanks

Re: A/c compressor
The guy I bought it from recharged it and they put yellow dye in to expose leak. I never saw any leaks, but your probably right. After all, I think the former owners spent a lot to get a/c fixed in the past numerous times. Thanks

Re: A/c compressor
I had the same problem with my 89 GTA, i took it in to check for leaks, all the lines were good but found the compresser itself was cracked all the way around. I kept charging it and it would be good for a day or two then be completly depleted. Sounds like you might have the same problem. luckily compressors arent that expensive. good luck.
