motor sounds like its eating itself
ok guys my newest delimma. i took the motor out to fix 6 bad freeze plugs, i changed the rear main seal and the valve cover cover gaskets, and the oil pan gaskets. now i put the motor back in hooked everything up, went to start it and it sounds like metal on metal contact and then i got vapor lock symptoms. i filled it with new oil and antifreeze, also new spark plugs. i have a 305 4bbl carb, mostly bone stock. any help would be great guys.

hey not that i know of all we took off were the valve covers and oil pan and replaced the carb to intake gasket.
