Replaced intake gasket, Power seems different
I had a coolant leak on my intake manifold gasket so i replaced it. Tore all that tpi stuff off but left the injectors and fuel rails on the intake. It seems to have also fixed my MAF trouble code as well WOOOOOT. Re-timed the car, now theres two things; 1. its running hotter (220 fan kicks on and off often when at idle) 2. something is up with the power. It feels like as i accelerate there is a lull as it builds rpms then i get a lil power and then it gets to high rpms and stays there for a bit as i feel a lull again. Then it shifts and the lulls start over. It feels definetly different and i need to figure this one out cause its definetly not driving right.

Have you checked the vacuum yet? I'm a carb guy and I don't know much about TPI so this is about all I got. If you're leaking vacuum, the car maybe running really lean. Also, don't the computers on those FI cars learn over time where the car likes to be mixture wise? Maybe it just needs 100 miles or so to figure things out.
The lean problem would explain both the high temperatures and the lack of power.
