Simple Oil Change
Ok so im new to the thirdgen lifestyle/cars in general.
Just purchased my 1st car. A 1991 Camaro RS. v8 305. 5.0L.
And now am looking to do a simple oil change for the first time.
Could use a little help finding the Drain plug and the oil filter.
Please and thank you. A picture would be REALLY helpful, but a good discription could probably send me in the right direction.

Oil filter - usually orange, white, or blue on the bottom of the engine on the drivers side of the car. It's towards the rear of the engine.
Oil pan - Big black thing that pretty much covers the entire bottom of the engine. The drain plug is the only bolt at the bottom of said black pan.

Do yourself a favor - get a $20 pair of plastic car ramps. You can do almost anything short of swapping a transmission with a pair of car ramps, and the plastic ones are cheap, never rust, are longer so the angle is more gradual for these low cars.
Also, if your driveway goes slightly up from the street into the driveway, drive the car up the slight slope until the nose is as high as it gets before starting to come back down (front wheels at the apex of the slope), then put car ramps under the front tires there, and drive up on the ramps - that 4 inches of driveway rise means alot of extra room under the car!
