replacing fan motor needs tips

What is needed to replace the engine fan?

just the motor? how do you remove the fan it self and replace the motor?

is there anything else that needs to be replaced?

fan switch and relays and wiring is fine lets just concentrate on the fan itself.

any tips or steps?

Re: replacing fan motor needs tips

there are 4 bolts that hold it in, 1 at each corner of the cooling fan bracket.

Re: replacing fan motor needs tips

Just remember that the bolt holding the fan blades to the motor is reverse-threaded.

(Left is tight, Right is loose)
