alluminum driveshaft questions??

Car: 1991 camaro z28 convertible
Engine: 383 tpi
Transmission: t5
alluminum driveshaft questions??

i am looking to get a all. driveshaft could anyone tell me which ones could fit my car ? i have a 92 camaro with a t5 tranny.....will one from an 89 gta fit and does it matter if its from a auto or manual??

Yes, it will fit. No, it doesn't matter as the length is the same for both.

so when i get this driveshaft from the 02 will i need to get it balanced???..thanks for your help james seems like your a driveshaft guru,lol

As long as the shaft isn't badly dinged and/or missing a balance weight, no.

If there is any damage to an aluminum driveshaft, don't use it.
