Glad to. This is where I learned about the website and have a couple of manuals myself. If you're not too picky, sometimes an off year or alt brand Firebird/Chevy can make a big difference in cost as long as you don't get something with major changes from one year to the next. Ie. 82-83 vs. 85-86 etc. Some of the electronics etc. may be different too. I think I was looking at a difference of $30 vs. over $100 or so.

 

yeah, you can get them from helm, but the ones on ebay can be had for usually $30-50

 

I've bought a few of them off ebay with good luck, beats buying new. Helms all the way if you want specific detailed info

 

I have two GM shop manuals, one for an 87 Firebird and another for a 91 Firebird. Both are in excellent condition. Should anyone be interested, fell free to PM me.

get your manuals from HELM inc .they are the best .dont even try a haynes or chilton they are vague at best

 

a TSB is a techical service bulliten its released after a know problem or a know method that is different than the manual or not in the manual. tsb's can also be for recalls. almost all cars have TSB's for them ranging from how to do an oil change to body repair.
