What Size Bolt...
What is the length of the bolt that holds the balancer on? The goober before me used a long bolt then built up washers to keep it from bottoming out
my guess is 2.75"
looks like it's a 7/16-20. I assumed metric

Re: What Size Bolt...
The damper bolt is supposed to be a unique, specific item with a specific, thick washer. Best to just order the correct new bolt with washer.

Re: What Size Bolt...
It currently has a grade 8 bolt with the thick washer, but it does look to be metric. The end is buggered, but my thread chaser didn't clean it as I had hoped.

Re: What Size Bolt...
Found the proper 7/16 bolt at the store
mr gasket saves the day
•edit• the mr gasket bolt was about 1/2" too short
back to using a new grade 8 bolt.
