what are the typical solutions to cure
the service engine soon warning light?

i have seen this posted before
the description of the flashes is still a bit obscure
can anyone shed more light on the subject in this link?

 

the light only comes on on the highway

 

If you don't understand the flashing codes, just go to any local chain auto parts store and let them pull the codes - they almost all do it for free.

 

heres what ya do...
*blink (pause) *blink *blink = code 12
*blink *blink *blink (pause) *blink = code 31
got it?

 

All autozones and advance auto parts do it free!

Also, with the blinking.....code 12 will blink 3 times telling you that it is in diagnostics. Then if there is any other codes, each will also blink 3 times.

he did give me a test key for free
cross terminals 5 and 6 not 6 and 12
