gas cap leak
I seached for some answeres to these questions but couldnt find any.
When my fuelpump neede dto be replaced I paid some guy I know to do it. Well, he turned out to know less than me and when he was removing the tank he messed up the metal part of the filler neck the cap screws to so now the cap wont seal right and gas leaks out when the tank is above 3/4. The pump whines loud and my gauge doesn't work anymore.
What can I do about this? Can the filler neck be removed without taking the whole tank out? Before my tank always seemed to have a little pressure in it, now it can't.

Re: gas cap leak
I dont know how to fix it, but I can tell you the filler neck and the tank are one piece. They do not come apart.
