Need to check what type port it is .
Most carbs have a "ported " vac port which does not see vac full time and one that has constant intake vac .You want the modulator to have full time vac.
Failing that you could '"T " into the dist vac line to save having to drill a new hole in intake
NB
Most aftermarket intake have a threaded port on the intake for brake hookup so you dont have to use a carb port

Re: Vacuum for modulator valve?

yes i thought that to about most aftermarket intakes. but after i put this one on i realized it didn't have one. and fyi this is a HI-TECH Torque-Link intake.
Vette- so what you are saying is that i can put a T in my vacuum advance and it will still work?. I think the other vacuum port is "ported". I will recheck when it comes time to start-up.
