Is Coolant Temp. Sensor and Temp gauge Sender the Same?
I need to change the Coolant Temperatur sensor, is it the same as Temp. Gauge sender?
Do you know if Duralast is good or needs to be ACDelco or other Brand?
Thanks

Coolant temp sensor is a 2-wire, temp gauge sender is 1-wire.

Chilton guide has listed only coolant temp sensor. Where is the sender sensor?
Coolant sensor is right by the intake, right?

Yes, 2-wire (yellow/black) is on front of intake facing radiator next to cold start temp/switch.
Engine temp gauge sender is in driver side head between #1 & #3 plugs, single green wire.
