'91 305 TPI Z28 Convertible

I have an issue with my 1991 Z28 305 TPI Convertible, When I start it up it'll idle fine, no surge no miss nothing... But when I apply the gas it cuts out and dies or if I apply the gas slow it gos down and not up and will die.

Now I've replaced wires, plugs, cap, bug, in tank fuel pump, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, EGR valve and the idle control sensor. I've drained the fuel and put 91 in it with seafoam and fuel injector cleaner and have let it idle for hours and hours on a few tanks of gas.

Still when I apply the gas it will cut out and die. After it get hot and I turn it off it will not start again, it will just sit there and turn over and not fire unless I spray gas into it. If I let it sit for a few hours it wil start back up on the first try....

I'd be greatful for any help on this issue Thanks.

Sounds like it dies due to a lack of fuel. Did you test the fuel injectors? The injector coil resistance should be about the same for each of them. Somewhere around 14 ohms as I recall. It's a common failure.

Ok, I have a testing meter how would I test it? On one of the wires on the injector?

I have a Fluke 87 III True RMS Multimeter and I have no clue how to test the injectors

That's a good meter. Remove the the rubber cap from the top of each fuel inector, that is the electrical connector. There are two contacts on each injector, those are the leads to the coil that opens/closes the fuel flow. Put the meter in Ohm mode, and place both test leads on the top of the injector contacts. Check each one, record the resistance values through each one.
