HELP! Ticking Sound from a rebuilt 350 carb.
I have a 78 350 carb engine that has had the bottom end rebuilt with stock heads 1.94/1.50 (which I plan on upgrading soon). I recorded a video on youtube and I can't figure out this ticking noise that seems like it is coming from the 5th or 7th cylinder. Also I have noticed that my timing mark is on the left side instead of the right (This has no ECU, or Emissions). Please help me out, I used 0w-30 oil when I rebuilt the engine, I just changed it to 10w30. I noticed new radiator fluid is yellowish instead of lime green, appears to have oil in it. I took off the valve cover and I noticed there was some green spots in there. White smoke when the exhust starts up. I have a bigger cam, which the machine shop approximated to be 460/484 LFT-MED STREET

It's said that you could usually take a boom or a screw driver and put it to the engine and listen. I looked at your video but can't really hear it. Is it a constant tick? Or does it come and go? Have you checked all your rocker arms?
