AIR components removal
The system has 3 points right? #1 to the air tubes attached to the exhaust manifolds, #2 to the smog pump, #3 to the cat, right?
Two questions. First, would screws be alright to plug the four holes on the exhaust manifold where the air tubes connect? If so, anyone know what size?
Second, do you need to plug the cat or anything after removal?

Re: AIR components removal
I've read the larger openings (where the check valves are) are standard NPT pipe thread, but I don't remember maybe 1/2in NPT plugs.
There's the square box thing that the tubes and hardline run to from the smog pump as well.
Might could just crimp off the end of the small tube that comes up from the cat without any major exhaust leakage - think I cut mine short, crimped the end, then did the old coat hanger/blow torch welding method on the end to seal it up.
If serp system, no need for a delete pulley - can rerun a different length belt and skip the smog pulley - there's a write up in the tech articles from the main page here.

@camaronewbie
Yea, I was planing on just dropin the smog pump and getting an new sized belt. The only thing I'm trying to figure out before I start is what size screws or whatever to buy to plug those exhaust manifold holes (thanks for your tips on that btw) and what to do with the cat.

Re: AIR components removal
I just did mine and i believe they were 1/4 in plugs there at home depot or lowes in the plumbing dept by the galvenized pipe, as for the cat tube i put a pipe cap on it as well i think that was 3/4 .

Re: AIR components removal
Mine was a straight, small metal tube about 3/8 in inside diameter maybe 1/2 in outside diameter - IF I remember right - it's been a few years ago and I ain't getting any younger
