will 2.8 air filter system work on 90 3.1?
i am new to the site, my wife and i just got a 90 rs with the 3.1 to replace the 89 rs she previously had. one of the things i notices was the coffee can looking air filter housing on the 90, i really liked the style that her 89 with the 2.8 had better. is it possible to swap that setup over to the 90 without having any problems since the 90 is a 3.1. the only issue i could see before was the air bag sensor being in the way but i am eliminating the bag since my wife will drive it a lot and she is afraid of it.

You'd probably get more replies in the V6 forum, but I'll tell you a couple of things.
1. The 2.8 intake will work as long as it's a Camaro. I'm assuming you're talking about the dual snorkel intake. While you're swapping the intakes, cut the baffles out of the bottom and allow cold air into the engine.
2. I don't know where you are located, but it's illegal in most states to remove or disable the air bag system.
