harsh noise between 1000-1250 rpm

hey guys, only with my ac on and maybe defroster?cant remember, the car vibrates and makes a harsh noise only between 1000-1250 rpm, im stumped, nothing is rubbing and i cant tell where its coming from, but i can feel it in the steering wheel, pedals. etc. i did the smog pump delete a few months back and i cant remember if it did it before. Anyways, do you think its damaging anything? And what do you think it could be? belt tension seems nice and tight...thanks

Re: harsh noise between 1000-1250 rpm

Explain the harsh noise a little bit more. Does the exhaust seem excessively loud? Does it have good power?
