HOT START CONTINUED
Hey all ,
I posted a thread not long ago about my car not starting when hot.
To recap my car when hot , turns very slowly so slowly it doesn't start...it sounds exactly like a car that the timing is too advanced. When I boost it at the same time it starts. It has a new battery new solenoid and starter and the timing is right . In the last thread i was told it could be the ignition module . Since then I've been reading all the posts about these modules and they all seem to mention stalling and missfiring which mine doesnt seem to do the next time its hot im gonna pull a plug and check for spark . anyways I'd just like to know doesnt it sound more like heat soak to the starter than the module...I bought a new module but since reading the posts about them I'm alittle scared to put it in since everyone seems to hate the new ones. any help is much appreciated. sorry i
so much.

Check all your connections. Bad wiring can make new components run like old components.

Thanks My connections seem good I'd really like to hear some opinions about why it starts with a boost. Any help is appreciated.

Re: HOT START CONTINUED
Sounds like heat soak.
What kind of starter is that? A factory replacement?
Look into an aftermarket mini-starter perhaps.
