What is this and do I need it?
As the title states, here are pictures. Posted a pic of the piece and my current setup to hopefully answer questions asked. The cable use to run to something off the CC carb we took off 3 years ago. Trying to clean up the engine bay a bit.

it's just a cruise control vacuum diaphram. Take it off, seal the hoses so you don't have an open vacuum, and you'll be fine

Alrighty. I noticed it ran into the firewall, should I plug it off there too?

vac hose to brake pedal switch, you can simply remove that
