I have a zz4 and will be upgrading the heads/cam. I'm interested in either some AFR's or the GM Fast Burns. The cam I will go with is most likely the LT4 Hot Cam. I would like to either re-use the stock intake on this zz4 or need to know what intake I can run and still keep the computer controlled quadrajet. Also, very important, is keeping it under the stock hood. I know i've read it on here before but searched and searched and could not find it. I think i saw Five7kid comment on it a while back but cannot seem to find the thread. If it's the AFR's, any suggestion on which model to go with? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

 

Fastburns are Vortec-style heads and will require an intake change. A set of AFRs with standard (85-down) intake bolt configuration would be able to reuse your ZZ4 intake (which is basically an Edlebrock Performer with GMPP stamped on it).

 

I have a Vortec squarebore intake, a GMPP one, are you saying I should treat it as if it's an Edelbrock Performer intake? Or is it a performer RPM?
