so i was out for a drive today, and as i got back home, i was backing my car into my space, but it stalled out. Maybe someone can help me diagnose the issue?

 

Push the clutch in, start the car and apply more gas this time! :P

But in all seriousness we need more information than that. Was it running wierd before it stalled? Check engine light turn on? Anything happening when you try to restart it? Etc.

 

well, its an auto v8 iroc, but it happened as i was backing in, and when it stalled out, the SES light came on. but it started right up again with absolutely no issue...thats about all i got

 

Is the light off now?

 

yeah i just got back from a drive and the light never came on...although now my MPH gauge is giving me trouble-that being it only reads the speed maybe 50% of the time driving

 

my car will do the exact same thing but mine probably stalls out more than yours....any time im below 20 it can stall (unless some two foot driving is involved lol).....the rpm will start being irratic then just dies.....the speedo will work after driving for a little bit..but even then it will sometimes stop, but only if i stop the car....i will be following this one closely....

 

hey, it happened again today. seems to only happen when I'm backing up and move too slow...
