Hope to get some help here, but here goes got a 90 camaro stock 305 tbi. Most of the time the starter cranks the engine fine. But after it gets hot and if i dont let it cool before I restart it, it clicks and will turn the engine but slower. Starter has been bench tested and tested fine. Had someone tell me that the timing could be off by a hair and this is what is causing it.
Also i don't think there is enough heat to cause heat soak on the starter. I don't think the batt. cables are causing this either. Any help is much appreciated.
