IROC Wheels
I have a set of iroc wheels and want to know why they are marked Front/Rear? I have a broken front and was gonna replace it with a rear one I have.

I think its because there diffrent offsets or widths. but i think i remember reading you can put front iroc wheels on the back but not the back on the front. Good luck

Not sure why this is under the engine section.
You are correct. The width is the same. It is the offset that is different. You can put front wheels on the back but not rear wheels on the front. If you put rear wheels on the front, the wheel will hit the caliper and wont move once bolted to the rotor. And this goes for the regular wheels as well. Not just the Iroc's.

I'm talking about third gen wheels. I know for a fact that atleast the regular 91-92 wheels are also marked back and front.

Okay so here it is. The back space on the rear iroc wheels are 4 7/8 and fronts are 4 3/8 ,so I put in longer studs and 1/2" space fixed the problem. I did this to the front so now I can use the rear one up front for now.
