Need some advice picking parts
I'm sure I could figure this out myself, but I figure with all the trial and error that so many of you have gone thru, it could save me some hassle.
Im rebuild my 5.7L 350 and running the stock TPI. I'm in the market for a new set of cylinder heads and a cam. What is the best on the market? and what have you had the best results with?
Any advice is good advice....so feel free to speak up. Its all appreciated.

THE best heads for any 350 are from AFR. Choose the 180cc intake ports and the 65 cc combustion chambers. The best cam is a custom grind specced just for your exact combo.

However, Lot's of folks post the "what's best" question but don't give a honest clue as to their build plan or as equally important, their real life budget constraints.

Re: Need some advice picking parts
As far as build plan, its just a straight rebuild of my tired 5.7l 350. Get the block bored and Im just looking to increase some horsepower and performance. Budget, well, there is no deadline for the build, so I have time to save money. What I want to add and purchase is the best parts to provide maximum performance. Does that help you out at all?
