350 not running right
350 not running right
Hey guys. Im new to these forums and have been having trouble with my 86 z28. The engine is a 350 swapped from an early 80s chevy 1500. It ran like garbage when i first bought it. Had no acceleration. It felt like a 2 cylinder car it was that bad. My buddy thought it might have been the plugs and wires so we changed them and it still runs just as bad. He said that its because the carburetor isn't adjusted right. Im not the best with cars, but anyway its a rebuilt rochester 4barrel. I was just wondering if you guys think the carb can make THAT much of a difference and if not does anyone know what the problem could be? Thank you, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 350 not running right
well you could really jack up your motor if the carb isnt adjusted right, for that matter it might need to be rebuilt lol you never know who did what before you, also make sure your timing is correct
