Cold Start Problems
Cold Start Problems
I just bought an 85 Trans Am that's having some trouble starting in the morning. It takes about 15-20 seconds of turning the engine over at 300-400 RPM to get it started. The problem is only getting it started in the morning. The car starts fine after sitting for a few hours. Also, the car idles between 1500-2000 RPM for the first 10-15 minutes after it starts. For this reason, I'm suspicious of the brain box. Does anyone have thoughts on this problem?
