help with smog delete
When you take off the smog control do youhave to block anything off on the carb, or is it just remove everything and its all fine and dandy

You have to block off the two pipes coming up off the manifolds, and the little pipe coming from the cat - here's the tech article: https://www.thirdgen.org/serpentine
You just have to ignore the part about the serpentine belt (I'm assuming you don't have because you are factory carbed).

actually im not factory carbed and plan on running hedman shorties and also have no cat just a straight pipe welded in which needs to be redone in the long run, so in that case theres nothing i really have to worry about correct?

You have to worry about the police if its a street driven vehicle in the United States. Its a violation of Federal Law to remove, disable, or tamper with emissions devices, including the AIR tubes, and the catalytic converter.

actually its a project dd, not a race car 305 doesnt make much power, it sat in the grass forever so i have an exhaust leak and im gonna take stock exhaust off and build one from scratch with shorties, and i beleieve the limit in mich i 54db or something, my dads freinds a cop so ill ask him
