Car stalled while stopped at a red light??
Car stalled while stopped at a red light??
I have a 94 ford taurus 3.8 The car war running fine and i came to a stop light, then my car just stalled out. it didn't sputter or buck just died. I tried to start it back up but nothing. The starter did even click o nothing. I took the starter out and got it tested and turns out it was bad. I didn't put the other one in yet being it was to late to get one.
Also when the car died i still had power. The lights didn't dim or anything in fact it's a brand new battery. I did realize that i was low on coolant but the temp gauge didn't not read hot. Could of my motor seized up. I don't know what it does when a motor seizes up.

This is TGO - Third Gen Org - meaning 3rd generation F-Body cars - meaning 1982 - 1992 GM Camaro's and Firebirds. You need to find a Ford forum - we wouldn't do you much good here as we are all Chevy/Pontiac 3rd gen F-body cars here.
