Needle bearing on the cam?

So I tore down my engine a year or so ago and now Im doing the bottom end. I remember seeing a needle bearing/thrust washer setup but that's it. Does any have a photo or more info on this. I have a factory manual and cant find anything on this subject.

Since we are on the cam subject does anyone know why you cant have a double roller chain on a computer controlled engine?

1. Of course not. It's not a factory part. Look at Cloyes, Rollmaster. I have a Crane one laying around also but I doubt you'll find one of those any more.

2. Never heard of such. Works fine in my car and every other one I've come across. There are problems putting them in certain blocks, most of which happen to be from newer computer-controlled engines, because a cople of casting "features" interfere with them. Nothing a die grinder won't fix in a matter of minutes though, and nothing directly related to the computer in any way.
