Fuse mounted next to battery?

On my 1990, and my friends 1992 there is a connector mounted to the frame right next to the battery. When I unplugged it there was a fuse inside it. Anyone know what that fuse is?

Re: Fuse mounted next to battery?

that fuse is for the fuel pump, unplug the fuse with engine running and it should turn off after a minute or so. I have a '91 z28 and that's how I know.
