just wondering if you guys know if there is supposed to be some sort of shield/ plate that runs underneath the center console in an 87 iroc... i happened to notice when putting in a short throw shifter that i could plainly see the ground beneath, and also noted that when the engine was hot, all the hot engine air was blowing up into my console, even making the shifter near the boot almost too hot to touch, also heated up the cabin considerably... just wondering if there is some sort of covering missing that directs the air further back??
