Any grinding/whining from the rear end? Bucking can definitely be caused by improper pinion depth. Jack the rear of the car up, get both wheels off the ground. Spin one wheel back and forth listen for clunking, do this with the drive shaft as well. How much play is there in the rear end when you do this?
