I need some help, can someone send me a pic of what their T.V.S. SWITCH, I don't know what it looks like, I never work an a car so I'm lost I have my Firebird 82-92 chilton book, but I need more help
I'm working on my 83 2.8L 2BBL firebird, and I was routing all the vac hoses and I notice that this part is disconnected or it looks like it is, I don't know what is suppose to go here, I just bought the car and I'm replacing all the hoses that are in bad shape

Also one of the reasons of why I don't know where to connect the T.V.S. Switch is because it doesn't appear on the diagram

Don't know about your engine but a lot of older carb engines had that type valve on the vac line to air cleaner flap.
When engine got up to temp , the valve opened allowing vac to the flap motor opening it to let cool air in ; instead of heated air from riser pipe off exh manifold
